This is a particularly beautiful copy of the Gretsch G6119-1962FT. This is your chance to get that classic Gretsch look and tone at an excellent price. This guitar muscles its way right to the front of the mix. Nothing matches the warmth, the snap, and the growl of the Gretsch sound, and this guitar has the Gretsch sound in spades. But this instrument doesn't just stand out in a mix. Imagine yourself on stage with such a striking beauty draped over you! The stain is rich and dark, yet, in certain light, beautiful burnished honey hues show through. There's something different about a Gretsch, something mysterious and dangerous. I'm sure you'll enjoy this one as much as I have. I've enjoyed it, and I've cared for it. Despite being played constantly, the finish is nearly unblemished except for a few small scrapes on the back, and even these can probably be buffed out. I am the instrument's first owner, and I have taken excellent care of it. The instrument has been set up and cleaned regularly and kept in temperature-controlled environments whenever possible. Some guitars deserve special attention, and this is one.Because the guitar was treated so well, it plays beautifully: the fretboard is fast, the action is low, it holds a tune, and the pickups absolutely light up amplifiers! This is a well-loved instrument, and it will be deeply missed. No matter what you're used to playing, I know this guitar will be a rare treat. The guitar comes with the original case, paperwork, truss rod key, etc. It will also come freshly set up and cleaned.
