Made by Lyon & Healy in Chicago for their Washburn brand, this is a fancy model 5317 ukulele with vintage tooled leather Maulbetsch & Whittermore case. Made sometime in the late 1920's or early 1930's during the Hawaiian music boom. The full package that includes ukulele pitch pipe, vintage string packs, vintage capo and Easy Method How to Play Ukulele booklet. A real trip back in time to the 1920's. FEATURES

This old Washburn is in very nice shape with some play wear evident on the upper bout and lots of finish checking. There are no cracks and no repairs and all the parts are original.
