I have a very nice ESP LTD JK-1 , James Kendrick signature guitar here. This is a truly unique guitar the likes of which i have not seen before and i've had everything.Artist models of guitars are something i am critical of. Because i want a good guitar on it's own merits not someone's endorsement cash out. This guitar has the EC, Eclipse, les paul shape. What is different about it than the Eclipse line though is those are very dainty lightweight guitars made for a  clear articulate tone. The JK-1 one has a thicker heavier body that is more reminscient of an older pre chambered pre weight reliefe style Les Paul. It has a substantial solid feel to both the body and the neck. Also the tone has more bass and thickness to it. It has that thump to it. The low, high and mids all sound a bit larger than the thinner lighter EC series guitars. There is muddiness to it. Just meaty tone.It is a full neck through body build. That is very rarely seen at this price point. It's a labor intensive build that results in excellent sustain. It's also much more common on the Horizon or in general super strat body styles. Rarely will you see a neck thru on this body shape. The overall feature set here is killer for this price point. Neck thru, flame maple top, transparent blue finish, locking tuners, black ebony fretboard, custom inlays, Active EMG's. Even the heel is neatly contoured for playability. Also the nut here was professionally upgraded by a luthier to a Graphite nut. This is the best Ltd series guitar i have played by far. It's like they went out of their way to build a super guitar. These are way under the radar and fairly low circulation to. So that's pretty much the story on this beast. Thank you for reading and considering. I will ship it out well packed and fully insured.
