The Absaroka is my favorite weber mandolin. It was built like the best quality webers, with full binding and very high quality wood, but at a lower price point. The Gallatin, which replaced the Absoroka, is no where near as good an instrument. In fact, if you are looking at a new Weber, I would encourage you to look at the higher end models over the Gallatin.This Absaroka has been played and has a few small dings that can be seen in the pics, including a small one on the headstock and a small one on the neck. Overall its in great shape, is easy to play, and sounds beautiful. This is a legacy instrument, looking for a new steward to play and love for a time before passing it on to a new generation.
