Vintage 1963 Burns of London Shortscale Jazz Guitar in very good condition. Rare opportunity to acquire this low production number, collectible guitar. The guitar has a nice straight neck, and the frets are in very good condition, only showing minor wear in the first 2-3 fret positions. It produces a classic, biting, definitive sound, from its two original Tri-Sonic pickups. Scale length is 23.375" TunersVan-Ghent Bridge: Burns Series 2Built by ormston burns London ltd in the years 1962 - 1965. There are a few light knocks and scratches, but considering its age it has aged very nicely and any marks are mainly superficial. It has a new set of Fender 9s fitted and the intonation has been set up so it will be ready to play straight out of the box. It does not come with a case, but will be extremely well packed and protected for shipping. It does not come with a tremolo arm, but one could quite easily be made, but I personally prefer playing this guitar without one. The tuners have been serviced, tightened and lightly greased, and work lovely for stable tuning. This really is a very nice guitar, and if looked after would only increase in value over the years. I am offering a very reasonable buy it now price or best offer, as I would like to achieve a quick sale. So please do not hesitate to make an offer. Any questions please ask, and good luck.
