What makes this guitar special: A beautiful piece, finished in a dazzling tobacco sunburst and sporting the classic PRS bird inlays. This one plays great, and has been nicely broken in, with just enough wear that you don’t need to worry about babying it. It’s a bit of a curiosity in that it sports the “10 top” moniker as noted in the pickup cavity, but doesn’t have the usual “10” on the back of the headstock. The top however is so beautifully variegated it’s hard to believe it could be anything other than a ten. Professionally setup by the experts at Cream City Music, this beauty will arrive ready to play right out of the case.Cosmetic condition: This one shows plenty of wear consistent with usage and sports various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, chips, and scuffs throughout, with notable edgewear and some chipping on top of the headstock. The back shows plenty of surface level buckle rash, as well as the remnants of Paul’s signature on the electronics plate. The top showcases a handful of dings in addition to visible pickwear. In short, used but not abused.Body: Solid mahogany body with bound flame maple cap in tobacco sunburst finish. Cream colored pickup bezels & wraparound Wilkinson stopbar bridge.Weight: 7 lb, 14 ozNeck: Medium profile mahogany neck with pearl side dots and pearl bird inlays. 1 11/16” nut width, 25” scale length. Headstock sports a gold Paul Reed Smith logo with locking tuners in full working order. Rosewood fingerboard is in good shape with no wear, and frets show only light wear. Neck is straight and intonation is perfect.Electronics: Replacement Seymour Duncan Alnico II humbucker in the neck position (7.19k ohms) and Seymour Duncan ’59 Model humbucker in the bridge position (7.93k ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch and gold speed knobs, 1x tone, 1x volume.Case: Original hard shell case included.
