Mincom 3M M79 2" 16 Multitrack Professional Recorder For Sale. Made right here in the U.S.A. These machines recorded many worldwide hits provided with their glorious sound! Selling the last of my restored Pro-recorders. About the machine serviced:
New, in/out idllers and ABEC 7 bearings included. Reverse idler serviced along with with new ABEC 7 bearings. All service bulletins up to date. Including one button punch in/out modification. Tech thoroughly calibrated transport alignment throughout entire tape path. As well, all the electronics. Tech fully aligned to and above specs for this fine machine! Also, serviced and repaired all electronics cards. Including installing with, all new premium fairchild 1086 FETS. And the quality Burr Brown op-amps throughout, that will allow for machines top optimum
performance, with the latest +9 tape formulation specs sold today. Power supply serviced and calibrated to within specs. Capstan motor was completely rebuilt. Spooling motors, also checked and run strong. Sound heads were serviced recently in 2016 by JRF Magnetics; with many more wonderful sounding hours and years of life left on them. Sound heads have minimal hours, since servicing from JRF Magnetics; for alignment purposes only. Please see JRF service document in photo. This recorder has recently been gone through and completely checked out technically, with all modes of operations functioning and in tip top shape and in total working performance order, as should be.Restoration complete for this great reliable sounding recorder! All recording heads documents will also be included. As well, the recorder manual/technical PDF file on CD ROM and electronics extender card.
