Up for auction is a 1978 Gibson Les Paul custom in like new condition. This is a left handed model. It was custom ordered with chrome hardware in 1978. It was purchased in January 1979. The original owner had purchased it to learn to play guitar but never really continued. This guitar spent most of its life in the case. It has been played and there are some very light pick marks on the pick guard, which I am sure those can be buffed out. Otherwise, this guitar is immaculate. If I were a left-handed player I would definitely be keeping this guitar.The headstock is is beautiful. It has a typical husk neck detail that you find most 70s models. Tuners are original and work perfectly. The back of the neck is in excellent condition without one mark on it. The fretboard and all binding is in perfect condition. Absolutely no front where, that I can see on the frets. The front of the body is in excellent condition. Pick ups are in excellent condition and look like brand-new. Very little if any pick marks. The bridge and stop tail look like they were just installed yesterday but they are original.All electronics work as they should without scratching or noise. These pick ups sound incredible.There is one tiny little imperfection on the back of the guitar but it's hard to pick up in pictures. It is tiny and you have to really look close to notice it. The case is the original case and is in excellent condition. The original warranty card will be included in the case. This guitar was originally purchased and Jacksonville Florida.If you are a left-handed guitar player and looking for an incredible Les Paul this is definitely the guitar for you!This item was relisted due to the fact that it was listed under the wrong category.
