Olivia's Vintage would like to present this original 1950's Kay Upbeat model K8980 electric archtop in its original Blonde finish. It has a good playing neck with great frets as it has been refretted, but there is fret buzz past the 11th fret and several dead frets between the 13th-16th frets. It actually plays remarkably well up to the 11th fret. It's all original with the exception of the bridge, tailpiece, frets, a couple of screws, and the bottom strap button. It is also 100% complete. A vintage chip board case is included. The original hole for the lower strap button was filled before the current button was installed. This vintage Kay looks good with a few very minor small cracks in the top of the body, some minor nicks + dings, finish checking, and other cosmetic wear. There is also some slight heel lift. All electronics work an sound great.
