Styled in a black satin finish, the Tom Araya Signature Series FRX is an electric bass from ESP featuring a solid alder body and a thorny, double-cutaway design. Its three-piece maple neck, fashioned in the neck-thru-body style, is fitted with a 35" scale ebony fingerboard and 24 extra-jumbo frets. The strings are secured by a set of Gotoh tuners, along with a Gotoh 404BO-4 bridge.For electronics, this bass is outfitted with a pair of active EMG 35DCs—humbucking pickups which offer versatility in the sonic spectrum; with these pickups, you can achieve anything from crisp and clean highs to dirty, growling lows. A volume knob, balance knob, and tone knob give you control over the electronics' timbres.Also, with its included hardshell case, you'll be able to take this handsome axe with you wherever you may roam.
