I doubt you could find a better example. Most have been bashed about with flaked off and touched up corners. Just look at the many examples floating around on ebay with 'dark oak' varnish applied to the edges ! you can see it a mile off ! ...very crude and just crazy to ruin such a collectable and iconic drum machine POWER SUPPLY IS DEAD QUIET. (ROLAND ONLY EVER HAD ONE VERSION OF THE POWER SUPPLY IN THESE SO PLEASE DON'T GET CONFUSED BY OTHER SELLERS !)THIS EXAMPLE HAS NEVER BEEN TOUCHED UP WITH VARNISH AND REMAINS TOTALLY ORIGINAL AS IT LEFT THE FACTORY !All sounds work perfectly and are calibrated / tuned to factory specification. All sliders and buttons operate smoothly as they should with no crackling, unwanted noise or double triggering.The programming section is fully tested and ofcourse fully working The battery has also been renewed recentlyRest assured this cr78 will provide many years of trouble free service !The Roland CR-78 has been used on countless hit records of the Eighties... 'in the air tonight' is one famous example !
