Hello and thank you for looking at this auction. Here is some information about this guitar. This Jackson KV-2 USA Select Series guitar was purchased brand new by me back in 2007. I ordered it from a Jackson authorized dealer guitar shop in Delaware about 45 minutes from where I was living at the time. I ordered it in July and it came in September, the dealer said that Jackson was out of King V's when the called to order it, I don't know if thats true but regardless when they finally got the guitar in and called me, I opened the case and was blown away at the quality of this guitar and the attention to detail and the overall craftsmanship. This guitar has spent the majority of it's life under a bed in the case. The case has some small marks from rubbing up against other cases from time to time but is in really good condition. The guitar has never been gigged with. The guitar has never had anything changed or modified with the exception of the strings to which it is only on it's second set which were put on February of last year, I put the empty box to the strings in the case so you know what they are. The guitar is still factory set up as far as the standard tuning and 9's. I'm going to say this guitar has less than 10 hours of play on it, maybe even less than 5, I really couldn't say, but barely played over the last 10 years. I am more of a collector these days and I have several Jacksons along with several other guitars and this was never a players guitar for me. My main player is a Jackson Randy Rhoads Pro from 1992 which is sentimental. The KV2 guitar is so nice in condition that I just played it when I wanted the excitement of playing this guitar and I would gently put it back in the case. All the knobs, covers, backplates, pick ups and selector switch are original and untouched. The back panels have never been off of this guitar since I have had it. The truss rod cover still has the protective plastic on it. All of the original case candy comes with the guitar along with the original case. Shipping may be expensive since I have shrink wrapped and bubble wrapped the case to the point where it weighs a ton. The points have no nicks or dings the guitar has no nicks or dings. Overall I would rate this guitar a 9.5 out of 10. The guitar has a couple extremely small fine marks in the back maybe from jeans however nothing significant and not noticeable until up close, they wouldn't even come up on any pictures that I tried to get of them. Its not anything that isn't on any other guitar that has been played at any point so its nothing to worry about.
