This is an original vintage Slingerland "Gene Krupa" 14" x 7" Super Radio King, maple with 3rd generation marine pearl finish, large oval badge (1949-51), stamped "Slingerland Radio King" logo in "stick-chopper" rims, single top mute, 8 small beaver-tail lugs, clamshell strainer, and Puresound (P1420) 20 strand snare wires. Like most of these drums, the telescopic extension lever on the snare release is missing, but a reasonably priced replacement piece is available online. Most drummers didn't use them because they were to extend the lever out over the top of the drum for quick snare release. CA residents please add 8.75% sales tax. Full insurance for shipping.
