This Special Edition model is the only non-custom shop Stratocaster constructed with koa, the traditional Hawaiian tone wood. This exotic-wood beauty features a traditional-shape alder body topped by koa, a satin-finish birdseye maple neck, rosewood fretboard with pearl dot inlays, 22 medium jumbo frets, chrome hardware, traditional 2-point trem, pearloid pickguard, and Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro staggered single-coils. There were no issues found by the refurbisher, all they did was give it a set-up. Although the guitar did not ship with a case I am including a Fender hard shell case to protect the guitar. The case sprung during shipping, but still protects the guitar with no problem.
