Available for bid ( serious bidder(s) only ! Thank you ) VERY EARLY ELKHART , IND example of Bach Stradivarius 236 Corporation bell in C/D keys trumpet with both sets of slides for C and D included ! Serial range is #32xxx !!! Letter D also stamped above serial on 2nd valve. Year 1965 made right after the move from Mt Vernon to Elkhart ! Story goes that these early Elkhart Bachs were still made using Mt Vernon parts . This is a one owner horn used through it's life but still very playable. All valves serials match the horn serials . Excellent compression. 2nd slide is not pulling as on photo with removed slides . I don't want to force it but little heat applied should make it free. Minor dings / dents around not much and usual wear / tarnish from age . Bell bow goes slightly towards leadpipe and bell goes a bit towards leadpipe as well but this can be quickly straighten out by a brass tech or left the way it is and it does not affect play. Valves are smooth and fast with pretty clean air holes. There is no wiggle on the valves to the sides and horn is ready to play upon receipt. Case included is not original but horn fits perfectly in it without movement at all. I usually see these in more recent serial range and without two sets of slides . Get this very early ELKHART Bach with both sets of slides for C and D ! No mouthpiece included . Don't miss ! eBay ! PayPal ! Sale is considered final . No returns please.
