Up for sale is a Bach Stradivarius 183G Flugelhorn with Gold Brass Bell in great condition. This instrument is in great condition and plays very well. The valves, slides, and trigger all move exceptionally well. The compression is very good as well. As for the aesthetic condition of the horn, it has one or two little scratches and dings on it but is otherwise in great condition. Non of this effects the playability of the horn. This instrument has had the old lacquer removed for aesthetic reasons, as well as to improve the tone (I find that lacquers of all kinds and thickness either hurt the tone because they are too thick or hurt the instruments because they are too thin and trap salts under the lacquer leading to red rot so I remove it from as many horns as I can). Therefore, this instrument is pure metal, and may have to be polished every few months, if played often.The fingerprints should also be wiped off after playing.
This trumpet comes with a mouthpiece in good condition and a bach gig bag in fairly good condition.
