Here is an excerpt about the design of the Solis Ortus:The Tempus Series is a joint collaboration between Frank Hartung Guitars and Boutique Guitar Loft. Each guitar will be designed and spec-ed out specially as a freeze frame of a particular time of the day. They will be given a name in Latin, signifying the time of the day that each represents.This is Tempus #2 Solis Ortus - the second guitar of the Series. Solis Ortus means sunrise in Latin. This Embrace features a uniquely flamed maple top and matching headstock. The body and neck is made of mahogany, and the fretboard is ebony. Stainless Steel frets and ebony knobs and pickup rings complete the package.We have doused this Embrace Solis Ortus in a magnificent burst finish, that shows the different colours and light visible in the sky during the sun's first appearance in the morning. The yellow, red and orange rays can be seen throughout the burst layers. The custom designed inlay represents an angel that hovers around the 12th fret, basking in the sunlight that shines between the matching colours of the body and headstock. We also "warmed up" the tonal characteristics of the guitar by choosing a maple, mahogany, ebony mix for the wood choiceSpecs: Model: Embrace
