Our reconditioning process includes removing all brass fittings for cleaning and burnishing.The mechanism is removed, inspected, cleaned and repaired if necessary. All screws are tightened and hammers aligned.The case is cleaned, waxed and burnished. The strings are cleaned and tuned.Finally, the piano is reassembled and our in house technician will proceed with final tuning and regulations. FINISH: This instrument was professionally stripped and re-finished a shade of golden oak only two years ago. It remains in pristine condition, entirely unmarked. MECHANISM: The action has been removed for inspection, cleaned, adjusted and regulated by our senior technician. It is in perfect working order with no malfunctions. STRINGS: The strings have been cleaned and tuned to concert pitch (A=440). KEYBOARD: The keys have been removed, cleaned and polished. The key tops are perfect with no chips or discoloration. FITTINGS: All the brass fittings, the hinges, locks, pedals etc. have been removed and burnished.
