For sale is a 1994-95 Fender Japan Jazzmaster. This guitar is in great condition, and is fully upgraded. This Jazzmaster has been professionally re-wired to be identical to an American Vintage Reissue Fender (AVRI) Jazzmaster. It has Fender AVRI '65 Jazzmaster Neck and Bridge pickups. The pickup selector switch is also Fender USA OEM (made by Switchcraft). The potentiometers are Fender USA (made by CTS) throughout (both in the lead and rhythm circuits). The jack is Switchcraft. The capacitors are Fender USA OEM. The Bridge is a Fender OEM Mustang Bridge.The knobs (lead and rhythm) and the bracket that holds the pots for the rhythm circuit are also Fender USA OEM. This guitar is wired entirely with color correct 22 gauge cloth insulated wire in the traditional Jazzmaster wiring scheme with all traditional values on the capacitors and potentiometers. It is literally exactly like a USA AVRI Fender Jazzmaster. The collet and tremolo arm have also been upgraded to Staytrem, which, if you are not familiar with, is a system that keeps the arm in place wherever you set it, and there is no play or slack before the tremolo takes effect when you push or pull on the arm. The guitar was recently professionally set up and has no issues. Low action (4/64 at 12th fret), no buzzing, and a nice straight neck with perfect intonation. The strings currently on it are D'Addario EXL145 (12-52 with a plain G). Beautiful tone, plays great.A few nicks in the finish (pictured) but overall a beautiful guitar.
