This 2008 SG Standard is only 6.5 pounds, has the wider neck, big frets and classic neck profile. It had two changes when I got it. Original pickups were replaced by Duncan ‘Pearly Gates’ models. A plus for some, but not for others. One is black, other is colored plastic. The tuners had been replaced w/ Tone Pros… the best tulip button Kluson copies ever, and I think they are no longer being made. But these tuners were gold… ok, not seen from the front but that still bugged me so I went and had the whole guitar pimped out in gold hardware and matching knobs. I think it looks cooler/better. In pix it looks more the brown/mahgoany color but it really is the stock SG color. It has one little blip seen in closeup of the front. No case, just a oversized bass gig bag.
