Professionally set up, plays super light but has that fat vintage 'belly' strat sound, I love this guitar. She's been to a few gigs but always handled with care. Small chip in paint on upper horn. Minor dents in the finish, no cracks whatsoever. Original vintage frets that still have a lot of life left in them. 19th fret Inlay dot stuck to my finger while playing one time, I left it out but it will come with the guitar. Luthier replaced the plastic nut with a non-bleached bone nut. I put on witch-hat knobs when I took the photo’s but the original standard strat knobs will come with the guitar. Light rust visible on the hardware but nothing serious, only adds character if you ask me. (see pictures)The original pickups sound great, very warm sound with deep sustain. The same luthier who installed the bone nut also hardtailed the strat by installing 2 extra springs and setting the guitar up from head to toe. Original tremelo stick comes with the guitar.Comes with all of the original documents, original Fender case + key, original Fender strap. Pictured without strings but fitted with a new set of 10 gage D'addario strings. A 'slab'-type thick dark rosewood fretboard with truss rod adjustment at the body end of the neck, no truss access above the nut, and no 'skunk' stripe on the back of the neck.  A honey-coloured finish on the maple areas of the neck (as opposed to pale, unstained wood). Three single coil pickups with staggered-height alnico (mid-greyish), unchambered pole-pieces. A 3-ply white/black/white held to the body with 11 screws. A vintage tremolo/vibrato bridge held to the body with six crosshead, dome-top screws, and featuring Fender-branded saddles. A pre-1964 style 'spaghetti' Fender logo on the headstock. Generous body contouring with plenty of arm and chest relief, relatively light weight. Individual routings in the body for each pickup - i.e. not a universal 'swimming pool' routing. Kluson-style vintage machine heads with nickel plating, oval pegs, and no branding. 'FENDER' branded neckplate, with both 'Made in Japan' and the serial number on the back of the neck. A single nickel plated string guide on the headstock. Original vintage hardcase included. Original vintage Fender strap included.
