Super rare in it's original form, but so desirable that they made a new made in Korea version- and the reissue is $1200!Tough to find these ALL ORIGINAL and untouched. Everyting is there and unchanged- The original Guild humbuckers, the tuneomatic bridge and rosewood base, the original Guild Harp tailpiece, the Tophat Guild knobs, even the original Guild Stairstep Pickguard is original 1965 vintage- nothing repro.This is among the nicest Emerald fires I have seen- no neck set, no peghead break, no major fingerboard wear- even the frets have very little wear. A true "Under The Bed" classic!The two Guild humbuckers sound great- I actually prefer the sound of this era Starfire to my own 64 ES-335. Comes in a Guild Hardhsell case.
