This is a used Atkinson Erfurt model NR501 professional Bb/F double french horn in excellent condition. Atkinson is a well known horn builder in Burbank, California and all his horns are hand built at his shop. This instrument has some very minor cosmetic defects which are difficult to see unless you are inspecting it closely. Most notable is some lacquer discoloration on the bell flare (shown in pictures). Don't hesitate to make an offer!This particular model is lacquered nickel silver with an ambronze (similar to rose brass) bell tail and detachable screw-bell. It has beautiful engraved gold plated valve covers and comes in the stock Atkinson detachable bell case.
