Up for sale is my Mesa Boogie Road King 2 head.  As you can see in the pictures, the head is in beautiful condition.  I've had many Boogies, this one by far is my favorite.  Only selling because I do not play guitar right now as I've switched to keys.  Everything works flawlessly.  This head does not have many hours on it.
When I bought the head from Guitar Center, as usual, they packaged it poorly.  It took a hit from UPS, and got damaged.  The only damage to the head was that the front metal panel got dented in a little.  You can tell it in picture number 4, I believe.  You see that the knobs kind of wave in a little on the front right side of the head.  Literally, the only thing it did was dent in that metal panel.  The knobs work perfectly, the wood, the tolex, everything is perfect, oddly.  I don't even know how it happened, but it did.  I could have returned it and got another, but they knocked off some money, so I was happy to keep it.  Any other amp would have probably been destroyed, usually the knobs are connected directly to the board, with Mesa, they use the flying leads coming off of the knobs, so no damage was sustained there because of their meticulous build quality. You may not have ever noticed the damage, it actually took me a while to find it, and I was looking for it because the footswitch was dented and the packaging was obviously beat up.Here's a little more history on the amp for the years that I've owned it.  I've had it since September 2013.  In the years that I've had it, I have played it very minimally.  You can tell that this head has not been gigged or abused, other than UPS.  The only time I ever really played it was a breif time at church, I used it in conjunction with a Roadster half stack I had.  It's the best amp I've ever owned.  It's the last amp that I own, and the one that I thought I would never sell.  The ONLY reason I'm selling it is because I play the keys now.  I have no intention of going back to the guitar.  If I ever do though, I'll pick up another amp.  I have to fund my synthesizer projects now, so, I feel good in letting it go.
Footswitch has a visible dent along the face of it, as shown in pictures.  Does not affect the function of the foot switch at all.  Head comes with slip cover, foot switch, cable, and manual.
This head functions flawlessly, and sounds incredible!U.S. only.  Instant payment is required.  I will report any buyer that does not pay within 24 hours and cancel the transaction.
