Up for sale is the next of our Greg Fessler special NAMM creations. This Rock Star quality telecaster puts the bad in bad-ass! This is a killer instrument that is just great looking from all angles. This is a Brand New 2015 Fender Custom Shop NOS telecaster Masterbuilt by Greg Fessler. Plastic still covers the neck pup. The striking Red Metallic finish guitar is created with a lightweight alder. Specs are somewhat similar to the Fessler strat as well - the neck is quarter-sawn maple and is a 60's oval, C-shape which holds an Indian rosewood fretboard of a 9.5" radius with vintage frets. The pickups are hand-wound '63 tele units.This guitar is a unique piece was created specifically for the 2015 NAMM show, where it was displayed and sold in auction. The NAMM Masterbuilts tend to be pricier due to their special creations and their demand. We really enjoy Greg's craftsmanship and are always on the lookout for others he worked on. We believe this is a great investment for any collector or musician. Whether it is in your studio or on stage, this guitar will really light things up! The guitar comes in its original OHSC, case candy and two certs, one for the Fender Custom Shop, the other representing the NAMM show participation. It is our belief that NAMM guitars are only going to increase in value and that early collectors will have an excellent opportunity to purchase these guitars before they get priced and valued out of range. Masterbuilder Greg Fessler came to the Fender Custom Shop in 1990, working his way up through the ranks as an apprentice. He assisted with the Robben Ford signature line of guitars, eventually becoming the sole builder of those instruments and, later, Ford’s personal builder. Fessler has built one-off Stratocaster and Telecaster models for a host of players, including Joe Bonnamasa, Jeff Healey, Hank Marvin, John Mayer, Rhonda Smith, Neil Schon and Pete Wentz, to name only a few. Fessler’s remarkable abilities as a Master Builder have earned him accolades from many Fender artists and from discerning customers worldwide. His meticulous attention to detail is exemplified in every instrument he creates, each of which is a perfect example of the intense commitment it takes to earn the title of Master Builder.
