Thank you for checking out this mint semi-hollow body 1968 Kustom K-200! The zebra wood grain is spectacular and the finish is flawless. This Kustom has been cared for like no other could, but more on that in a minute... The neck is perfect and the frets are like new. The neck is very thin and incredibly fast. The Brazilian rosewood fingerboard is flawless and the doubled mother of pearl fret markers are a nice touch. The stainless nut and zero fret designs combined with the thin neck makes for a Mosrite feel when working your way up the fingerboard. The tone and volume pots function as they should with no crackle, and the pickup selector switch functions perfectly as well. Both the neck and bridge DeArmond- Rowe single coil high gain pickups sound amazing! Needless to say, all of the electronics are original and unmolested. The original Grover tuners are perfect as well. This guitar looks, sounds and plays as it did when new. The original hardshell Kustom case has a few small nicks. It easily forgotten that this instrument is almost 50 years old! It is an amazing instrument! The history of this guitar is one that should be known. The owner is a close friend and a Memphis legend when it comes to guitar design, maintenance, manufacturing and repair. Tom Keckler has worked with and for most of the legends over the past 50 years. There is a guitar player magazine article you might find interesting, but it doesn't hold a candle to the accolades that casually come up in conversation! Elvis, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, ZZ Top, Jimmy Page and countless others have all worked with him over his amazing career! Google Tom Keckler guitar and scroll down to the Guitar Player article on St Blues and Tom- or check out Facebook- TK guitar MemphisTK bought this guitar from its original owner in late 1969 and tucked it away in his personal collection. It has been maintained by the best hands in the business and could not be in more perfect condition. I am amazed and proud of the work he does on my instruments, and I am happy to be selling this on behalf of a good friend! Thank you for reading this far and feel free to shoot me a message with any questions! I am proud of my reputation on eBay and look forward to helping you acquire this mint '68 Kustom K200!
