THESE GUITARS ARE BECOMING QUITE RARE AND ARE CONSIDERED BY MANY TO BE ONE OF THE BEST REISSUE TELES EVER. IT IS AN ACTUAL 52' REISSUE BUT WITH FACTORY MODS SUCH AS MEDIUM JUMBO FRETS AND SEYMOUR DUNCAN MINI HUMBUCKER IN THE NECK. WEIGHT IS ONLY 7LBS 8OZS ON MY DIGITAL FISH SCALE. ASH BODY IS NICELY FIGURED. THESE GUITARS COME WITH THE ORIGINAL "THIN SKINNED" LACQUER WHICH AGES QUICKLY BUT PRESERVES THE GUITARS TONE. IT HAS ITS SHARE OF LIGHT SCRATCHES AND SCUFFS. THERE IS ALSO A 1/2" MARK ON THE FRONT LOWER BOUT FROM A CIGARETTE THAT HAD BURNED THROUGH THE TOP COAT BUT IT HAS BEEN REPAIRED WITH GUITAR LACQUER AND POLISHED. FENDER LOGO ON PEGHEAD HAS A SMALL AMOUNT OF WEAR. FRET WEAR IS VERY MINIMAL. THIS IS GREAT PLAYING GUITAR.
