1964 Fender MUSTANG Olympic White pre-CBS First year of the Mustang For sale is a rare 1964 Fender Mustang in its original Olympic White finish, the first year of the Mustang. It has a rare transition feature with pearl dot inlays on the top of the fretboard and clay dot inlays on the side. The pickups, and pots all date to the end of 1964. It has a very nice straight neck with good frets. It's all original and is 100% complete, come with a non-original vintage hardshell case and original tremolo arm. There are some light scratches, dings, and typical wear that you would see on a vintage bass like this. All electronics work and sound great. Overall, I would give it a solid 9 out of 10 condition. Everything on the guitar is original, there are no cracks, repairs, or major issues. The neck is straight with no issues. The original frets are in excellent condition with minor wear.
