***Hey watchers: I'm ready to move this beauty along, so if you're going to make an offer, now's the time! No unreasonable offer refused!***
This, my friends, is a 2016 Electra Omega Prime in Flame Maple. Les Paul, single cut style. Mint condition, not a scratch on it (in fact, I don't think it ever left my living room!). It's pristine. Basically new… you can see from the pics that it still even has the protective plastic on the pick guard, truss rod cover, and back control cavity covers.Action is low, frets are big, plays like a dream. The MagnaFlux pickups have impressively high output and both are independently coil splitable (push/pull each volume knob). The neck humbucker is meaty and smooth and the bridge p'up has some real bite. And with two volumes, one tone, you can mix things up and get a huge range of sound characteristics right from the guitar. The neck is fat and solid and comfortable (and has a volute!). This is the kind of neck that you don't have to be gentle with. At the heel, there's a generous sculpted scoop to get to the higher frets. Comfy belly cut, too.Tortoise shell details are everywhere; binding on the neck, body (7-ply), headstock (7-ply), pick guard, and the rectangular inlay on the fretboard.More from Electra's website: "Gorgeous Flame Maple finish. This Omega Prime has an arched carved top, solid mahogany body with sculpted heel. It sports a 50's style "C" shaped mahogany neck; maple fretboard and tortoise block inlay and binding. The Omega Prime also features the new Electra MagnaFlux Coil Split Pickups with push/pull on each volume knob. It's equipped with TonePros Bridge and Locking Stop Tailpiece, TonePros/Kluson Deluxe Tuners, and a GraphTech Tusq Nut."Anyway, I saw this guitar and just fell in love. I picked it up new (with an Electra branded hard shell case) for $785 about 6 month ago. I'm selling because... well, to be honest, I shouldn't have dropped this kind of money right now. But I just couldn't resist. It's such a beauty. So anyway, I'm doing the responsible thing and moving it along. Maybe I'll seek another one out in a year or two. Reasonable offers (and trades) considered. These Omega Primes are $800 straight from Electra (without a case). Will ship packed in its case and boxed professionally.P.S. If you're not familiar with Electra, google 'em! Very interesting history. They made some cool stuff a few decades ago and were way ahead of their time (google for the Electra MPC stuff) and now they're back. Read the reviews of these new Omega Primes too. You'll see folks saying that they will destroy any Gibson in sound and playability.
