I have an all original beautiful players grade 2002 ES 335 dot. It has been heavily used throughout the years. The hardware all shows signs of natural aging and tarnishing (none of the hardware is super glossy). The finish has a lot of little wear here and there. Nothing too dramatic just gentle use over years. I tried to capture the bigger marks. There's a little buckle rash but nothing through the finish. The frets are in excellent condition. The guitar is straight as an arrow and resonates extremely well. Plugged in, it's an absolute dream. It has a big complex sound. There is tiny spot near the headstock where the guitar had a repair done (professionally by a luthier). You can't feel it and can really only see it in good lighting. The neck and action are perfectly straight. No buzzes etc... it's set up with 10 gauge strings. The case is perfectly functional and works as a good case minus one of the latches which doesn't work. This is a chance to get a stellar 335 in rare black that sounds like a dream. If you don't mind the character you get with a well loved instrument this one is for you.
