Offered for a very reluctant sale is my Collings UC2 Custom concert ukulele.I'm sure you will be aware of what fantastic ukuleles Collings make; peerless build quality, fabulous timber, fantastic set up & playability & dynamic, sweet, balanced tone. They really are as good a ukulele as money can buy. This ukulele takes Collings standard all mahogany construction & adds the full options;Dog Hair Gloss finish (£430)Pearloid headstock veneer with etched binding (£180)Ivoroid binding with Black/White Purfling (£100)Ivoroid Fingerboard binding (£130)Ebony fretboard and bridge (£60)Condition is excellent. There are two tiny impressions in the nitro on the top that you will only find by holding it to the light & searching very carefully. Sale includes warranty card & Collings' lovely hard case. New, this spec will set you back £2599 & you will almost certainly need to order it (try googling this model, it isn't in stock anywhere in the world at time of writing). It is a dream instrument & I'll wager it will be years before another comes up for sale in the UK, if ever. Shipping is UK only & will not be cheap I'm afraid. Couriers are charging £10 for £500 of insurance cover so the insurance alone will be £30, reckon on another £20 for the shipping & you get (gulp) £50. Alternatively if you want to arrange your own courier that is fine with me. Of course you could have a trip up the A19 to sunny Teesside, try it out, realise your life will be meaningless without the Collings & pay cash there & then. Not interested in any trades, a major change of musical direction forces the sale. No buy it now price, it's an auction & the start price of £1499 is £1100 below the new price. That's a deal & a half.
