This is super rare 1968 made SONY C-38 vintage condenser microphone.SONY C-38 is first version of SONY C-38 series (C-38, C-38A, C-38B).Today's version is SONY C-38B.Please check my other listings.SONY C-38 is also called SONY C-37FET in the US.You can get more info .This mic works with 9V battery only.No phantom 48V power.Output connector is male XLR.Works great! I love this mic's sound. Capsule is super clean.Please check pics.SONY C-38's grill screen has white urethane foam inside.It protects mic capsule from dust and spit etc.There are scratches minor dents.Unfortunately grill screen and silver metal parts has many corrosion.S/H is $40 all over the world. I will pack your mic very carefully.
