Hello Ebay, I have my BBb St. Petersburg Tuba. It has 4 valves. All the slides move very smooth. Very easy to pull. There are several dents and dings throughout the horn, but nothing major. The bell is a bit crinkled as well. This tuba has gotten me through 4 years of college. The reason why I am selling this horn is because I am looking for a piston style horn. This horn is a bit small for a 4/4 size, but it has a very fat sound. The intonnation is great on this horn. Db is a bit tricky, but once you play on this horn, you'll find the sweet spot. The valves are also in great condition. This horn was well taken care of. I actually bought this horn here on ebay in 2012. I take apart the rotors and slides and clean them and grease them every couple of months. For the price, this horn will not disappoint you. This horn is great for the college student or someone who just wants to play tuba again. It will come with a study flight case. I believe it is an STB case. One of the handles is broken on the case and there is a 5" crack on the case, but its still sturdy. I will ship greyhound for free, unless other arrangements are made. Before you purchase this horn, I will have it taken to a shop and have it gone through and have the springs replaced. Please message me for any questions. |
