would be a unique addition to any ukulele collection. and almost no scratches, dings, or wear.Surprisingly easy and fun to play, although it tends to slip around a bit until you get used to the rounded back. The most impressive thing about this unusual instrument is the tone. The body is made of numerous separate strips of mahoganyperfectly joined like a barrel, which gives this uke a deep, rich, mellow tone like an ovation guitar or a pineapple Kamaka.Mahogany neck with a wafer-thin Brazilian rosewood "fretboard"which extends a short distance over the top face of the ukulele.
