This is a six string Lyre based on the Sutton Hoo ship burial find.Tuning is E-A-B-C#-D-E. I often also use the tuning G-A-B-C-D-E or E-A-B-C-D-E.The lyre is made from Maple and a Ripple Sycamore soundboard. Nylon strung with decorative brass straps, a brass tailpiece guard and comes with a peg turner. Below is a sound sample of one of my previous Trossingen lyre played by Harpist Vicente Marino. The Sutton Hoo lyres sound very similar but have a slightly deeper more open sound.
