Up for auction is a nice Gibson C-6 Custom/Richard Pick model. The guitar has Brazilian rosewood back, sides, sound hole ring, and headstock overlay. All solid wood construction with cedar top. Ebony fret bound and gold plated tuners. Original rosewood bridge with 2 pearl blocks under the strings.
A 3” crack on the back of the guitar is repaired. Finish checking thru out as with most 50 years old acoustics. The Bridge has been repaired long ago with filling in the old slot and moving the saddle rearward for intonation.
Richard Pick was a famous teacher and author of the 40’, 50’s, and 60’s. These guitars were all custom ordered with a “Richard Pick approved” Gibson label. Rich clear tone on this guitar with a growling bass.
