Lennon and George Harrison both used Gibson J-160Es for much of the
acoustic work heard on Beatles albums. In 1967, Lennon commissioned a
psychedelic paintjob for his trusty J-160E for the "All You Need
is Love" satellite broadcast (though Lennon opted not to play
the guitar during the broadcast). This is a Limited Edition Replica
of the Gibson that Lennon used faithfully while recording, in movies
and for live performances. The Peace Model resembles Lennon's Guitar
in 1969, after he stripped away the psychedelic paint job.
