Despite its various love marks and signs of aging, it still has a fantastic voice, rooted in a mild low end, rich and robust midrange with equal parts warm body and punch, and a silky top end that still maintains a ton of clarity. It still plays great, has a ton of visual character, and comes with a hardshell case as well as a professional setup so it plays that much better. Condition: This guitar is in good condition overall. The finish is heavily checked and has chipped away in a few areas. A few small areas of binding have been chipped away. The bridge has been re-glued. There is a piece of the neck missing on the bass side part of the neck where it meets the body. The nut has been replaced and the area above it is worn away from the original nut which was likely larger in size. There are other various nicks, dings, dents, chips, and scratches, but considering all this and its age, it’s still in great playable shape and still sounds fantastic. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod is functioning. Body: Double-bound southern jumbo body with a spruce top and mahogany back and sides in Sunburst finish. Multi-ply top and back binding. Gibson tortoise pickguard. Belly-up rosewood bridge with wooden uncompensated adjustable saddle and white bridge pins with abalone dots.

Neck: Slim to medium C shape mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with split parallelogram inlays. Kluson deluxe tuning machines with black buttons. 1 9/16” unoriginal nut. 24.75” scale length. .83” deep at the 1st fret. Electronics: Undersaddle passive transducer and side-mounted jack. Weight: 4 lbs 5.9 ozPlayability/Sound: The neck is a comfortable and familiar shape most guitar players can identify with. Its tone has a mild low end, a warm, robust midrange and a smooth top end that still boasts excellent clarity. Case: Includes hardshell case.
