Like nearly all the high end vintage analog synths we sell, this item has been METICULOUSLY disassembled, cleaned inside and out, FULLY serviced by professionals who’ve been servicing and selling vintage synths for the last 2 decades, and systematically tested multiple times over a long period to ensure it’s working exactly as it should. No BS. No ebay surprises. We are perfectionists and don’t cut corners. We paid our tech for 14 hours of tech time plus parts costs to fully overhaul this unit so it would be BETTER than the rest - clean enough to eat off of, working like new again (or better) and as reliable as possible for its next owner. This was a serious investment of time, love, and money, and was definitely worth the effort (and this is reflected in its price). If you’re looking for a great sounding example of this model that works just like it should without needing to invest hundreds or thousands of dollars in tech fees, this one should make you very happy. Although the memory was still intact when we got this unit and the battery voltage was within acceptable range, we replaced the battery so you shouldnt have to pay to have this done for a long long time. Also, although the power supply was healthy, we replaced all power supply capacitors so the power supply should continue to run well long into the future. Please contact us for a link to more photos since eBay only lets us post 12. LED displays don’t photograph well so the photos may look like there’s something wrong with the display, but rest assured this is not the case - this display is working fine. All segments are displaying as they should. We included a pic of this unit in the dark so you can see it’s working ok. This Xpander is a US version and not the less desirable Japanese version.The shipping calculator here is probably inaccurate. You will be responsible for ACTUAL shipping costs. Cost will be calculated after the sale and will be high, especially for international shipment as we ship UPS and they’re expensive, though they’ve never let us down.
