Made in Japan with great craftsmanship and materials, this great saxophone is perfect for advancing students or professionals (and yes, even beginners, especially at this price)... All modern horns currently made in this price range are made in China and are not the same quality...and as opposed to most of the Chinese manufactured horns, this is an instrument that will last many years and will take the heavy use of a student or professional player while maintaining it's integrity, providing a rich and vibrant professional sound with excellent intonation. The ergonomics also provide a comfortable playability to this sax. The finish shows wear but looks good overall from stage-to-audience point of view, with about 75% of the lacquer still present. The pads are in good condition, and currently only needs minor adjustments to be performance ready. For an additional $75-100, you'll have a horn that will serve the player well for years to come, and sound and play as good as much more expensive horns. Don't miss it!
