Description
Interface Type: FireWire Interface, Thunderbolt Interface Features: Bus-Powered

Amazing interface. Definately up there with Apogee and UAD, Metric Halo etc.... this unit is a classic, Bus or Adaptor power, I have always used just Bus powered and its been super stable. 2 high quality mic pre amps (improved since the Firewire 800, its bigger older brother), and 6 other Analog inputs for instruments etc. with very high quality AD converters. The outputs are just as good, delivering the cleanest possible audio for you to monitor from. 6 quality analog outputs. Then there is SPDIF in and out too, great for capturing digital sources. and u can expand and add an ADAT interface to expand ur inputs and outputs. word clock in and out, not that you would need it unless you have very expensive equipment... The clock in this unit is very accurate, super low MIDI latency. U can connect 2 midi devices to it via the breakout cable provided... this is quite rare for a unit of its size. Comes with the Firewire 400 to 800 cable needed for some of the newer Macs. I used this with my 2011 Macbook Pro. You can get a thunderbolt cable if you haev an even newer mac. Also will throw in the old Firewire 400 to 400 cable too as thats what it originally came with.
