Vintage Sansui SD-7000 1/4” Stereo Analog reel-to-reel tape recorder w/manual, lit & dust cover.This classic deck is really sweet. Our tech has cleaned scratchy pots, heads, capstan, etc., replaced the belt and has given this vintage reel tape deck a clean bill of health. It even accepts (2) Hi-Z microphones via (2) 1/4” mic inputs. Features include sleep, tension and speed buttons, auto rewind, reverse, repeat and manual transport dial, and level controls for recording and playback. While it’s in great shape for its age (late 60’s/early 70’s), we do see a small crack in the corner of the smoked-plastic dust cover. I recorded from my iPad into both line inputs with excellent playback; but did not try the mic inputs. This unit will be hard to beat for overall condition and functionality and deserves to end up with a true audiophile collector or avid listener. It was pictured with 2 reels in order to show working meters, etc, but only the empty take-up reel is included with the dust cover, lit and recorder itself. Thanks for looking.
