Here for sale we have a fully refurbished Premier drumset in a distinctly retrogressive Black and Gold duco finish. All late 60s mahogany shelled with 1940s luggage ... A singular combination adding up to a uniquely classy kit. All refurbishment has been carried out to the highest standard. Bearing edges checked, sanded and waxed. Interiors checked, sanded and waxed. The paintwork has been hand applied and finished with two clearcoats. What you have here is a ready to go out of the box bop set that reflects the Golden Era of Premier shell making along with one of their finest hardware designs. And the sizes are ...18"x12" Bass drum. 3ply mahogany shell with solid beech rerings. Fitted with eight 1st generation Art Deco lugs, sixteen Art Deco Ls and claws and sprung spur mounts. Two brand new smooth white heads with new logo to resonant side. Originally a tenor drum this shell has not been drilled for any tom mounting option whatsoever. 14"x14" Floor tom. 3ply mahogany shell with solid beech rerings. Fitted with sixteen 1st generation Art Deco lugs, cast streamline hoops and three early strip mounts plus repro legs with new rubbers. Slot headed tension bolts all round. Used Ambassador to resonant and brand new Vintage Ambassador coated to batter side. Damper/fixing holes have been mahogany dowel plugged.12"x8" Ride tom. 3ply mahogany shell with solid beech rerings. Fitted with six 1st generation Art Deco lugs, cast streamline hoops and slot headed tension bolts all round. Used Diplomat to resonant and brand new Vintage Ambassador coated to batter side. The shell has had some holes plugged with mahogany dowels. Namely from previous single point lugs, tom mount and damper/fixing holes.This set will excel in a be-bop setting. Perfect sizes with jas tone in spades. Walkin, steamin, cookin ... Does it all.Please study the photos carefully. I have used the best period parts available in this build but inevitably some wear and pitting will be evident to the chromework commensurate with age. This sale is for the three drums ONLY. All other items pictured are used for illustrative purposes only (ie snare/hardware/cymbals) and are NOT FOR SALE here. However ... The snare shown is available on another of my listings. The perfect compliment to these drums, a 14x6.5 Super Ace in birch and matching duco.
