Description
This is my August 1965 Fender Vibrolux Amplifier...I have owned it for several years. It is the absolute nicest of 3 that I have and therefore I never use it. I could use the cash more than a 3rd Vibrolux that sits in a road case right now! All transformers and speakers are original. Below are all the important numbers for the forensic amp guys:Power Transformer 606-436Output Transformer 606-513Choke 606-437Reverb 606-526Serial # A03004Chart Code OHSpeaker Numbers 10L5-2 465-449 X10L5XK358 10L5-2 465-502 X10L5XK358 As you can see, the tolex and grill cloth are VERY clean....almost perfect....I didn't even clean her up for the pics....2 minutes with a damp rag and it will clean up even better!! Comes with original footswitchHere are what has been changed to the best of my knowledge:3 prong power cable addedAll caps replaced with Sprague'sThe speaker nuts and wiring harness appear to be correct replacements, but replacements nonetheless. The 3 way ground switch looks to be a replacementThe resistor on the bias pot appears to have been changedThe baffle board may or not be original. It has at least had a shot of black spray paint, but without removing everything I really cant tell...The grill cloth is attached correctly with the correct staples and the baffle board screws look right with no extra holes ever added to the cleats...So? I guess weather it is original or not isn't that important as it has at least been painted anyway...So, draw your own conclusion on that. Everything else looks good and the amp is really nice......Of course it sounds just like a healthy Vibrolux should!!!Thanks a lot, and please let me know if you have any other questions or would like to see a picture of a something specific.Johnny
