This appears to be preproduction as all the "v1" have printed circuit boards, it also has the on/off switch in the pot, I have had this 25 years and I have not played it hardly at all or changed it, it is how it came to me, note the hole in back I believe is a mod for 9v power. I put a new battery in to test it. It has some wear and tear and a little rust (character) not too bad for probably 1968-69? There are some blogs about dating. This is a collectors item, sort of vintage of vintage I do t know how many exist like this, vary rare. Please read carefully: Do not bid if you are not going to pay for the item!
