These are very hard to find vintage wooden temple blocks, which were made in Thailand. I bought them brand new in the early 1980's. I never really used them, and therefore I never bought the mallets for them. I only used my fingers on them. However, some of my not so informed friends used my drumsticks and put on some light marks and nicks on them. Overall, they are still in good condition, with one crack on the biggest block as pictured. It's about 2" to 2.5" long as you can see in the pictures. Could be an easy fix, but I'll let you be the judge of that. As for the sound. Unlike the newer ones, which are made of resin, or plastic, these have warmer sound. Using my fingers, they all sound really nice, however I don't get a lot from the smallest block. Maybe I need the proper mallets? I'm not sure. I would really appreciate it, if someone could inform me. Please contact me, if you have any questions. Shipping is $25 to lower 48 states. Everywhere else will vary, depending on your location. Local pick up is available.
