Here we have a ART PRO PRO CHANNEL II, Opto Tube channel strip with our Revive Audio Pro Channel Modification service.
These units sound incredible with the modifications and feature the same great preamp and compressor sections that made the VLA and MPA.We take the same approach with the modifications of the preamp and compressor sections that we use on both our VLA and the MPA modifications and roll it all into one excellent sounding channel strip.
The price to performance ratio on these is incredible.
When completed they are a top contender with all the features you need and sound as good as units costing three times as much which is why we do this in the first place:)The service on these increases the headroom of the unit, widens the frequency response, lowers the noise and increases the detail of the three dimensional image.On this unit we have modified: both the input, output and buffer stages with Burr Brown high performance opamps as well as interstages for optimum fidelity. Coupling and de-coupling is also performed throughout the circuit using premium parts for better frequency response, lower noise and more musicality.The Tube voltage is increasedA faster lower noise vactrol modification is installed for quicker attach and release times
All audio coupling capacitors are replaced
The power supply is modified for better current delivery and lower noise Low noise Tubes are installed as a finishing touch.
