Summer sale time. Check all my listings for specials.Here's a sweet pair of Gruning Audioworks racked vintage Altec 9470 modules. The 9470 was a John Hall design, the same guy who designed the Langevin AM16. In fact the two certainly have a strong family resemblance; no electrolytics in the signal path, and an elongated design with transformers on either end. In any case, the 9470 sounds somewhat similar to the AM16, but with a more open, mid-present sound. I think I have a sound clip on the Gruning Audioworks site. It's not this pair as I recall, but will sound as similar as similar gets. This pair has meters and stereo meter buffers, phantom power, pad and polarity switches as well as output pots. Let me know if you have questions and I'll try to answer ASAP. I'm adding a $25 handling charge to cover full shipping insurance. If actual fees are less, I'll reimburse the difference.Yes, I will ship internationally. Contact me for a shipping estimate. And yes, I will wire these for 220V upon request (no extra charge).
