Really hate to sell but welcoming a new baby girl and need to make room and some money. This is a matching numbers Gretsch Progressive Jazz Round Badge in Tangerine Sparkle, 20'', 14'', 12''. As I recall this is a 1963 kit. Has tom mount, floor tom legs as well as a custom cymbal arm and all the mufflers and die cast hoops. This has been one of my main drum sets and is real delight. Silver sealer and badges look great and as they say has that "Great Gretsch Sound" and of course this is one of the finest looking finishes and colors in the history of drum making.Some things to know:1) There is a teeny factory drilled hole on the 12'' tom
2) These drums were always a bit oversized and modern heads don't fit as well. To help accommodate as this was a main live and studio kit, the wrap has been professionally trimmed to have the bearing edges sound even better with any modern heads. Cannot be detected unless changing heads when again it is a benefit.
3) There is a small glued crack on the floor tom wrap
4) When I took the head off to show the wrap trim one of the lugs on the 14'' stopped working right. I took it apart and the majority of the lug is perfect, just an issue with the threads but it should be replaced or repaired. So irritating but had to let you know!
5) The bass drum needs a Gretsch RB, not hard to find either
6) Bass drum legs are modern custom replacements that work amazing, much better than stock
7) One of the drum hoops is a new, precision drum company hoop
8) I was planning on keeping my bands front bass drum headI really love these drums and hope they go to someone that will love them. Obviously these were not kept as a museum kit but lovingly cared for and played. Good luck and enjoy!
