The Neumann V472-2 is a folloer of the legendary V72 and so it was originally produced as an universal amp. This one was wired as a micpre and now it has a gain of 46dB linear frequency response and it sounds near to V476 / V476b.The dual channel module was built into a new lunchbox (Hammond steel housing) with XLR in & out + an external power supply (100V - 240V).
The lunchbox has the additional features: volume, phase reverse and phantom power switchable per channel.
This Neumann pre sounds really good: warm, natural and transparent with a little portion of nice coloring which is probably caused by the super high quality Haufe input and output transformers.see also my other auctions !!!
